Members of the public who wish to attend the ceremony are asked to access and exit the cenotaph via the marked crossing points and arrive by 10.45am, prior to the civic party taking their positions at the cenotaph. 11.25am approx: The parade will reform and return to the Town Hall.Immediately following the silence, the cenotaph service will commence, led by Canon June Steventon. 11am: Warrington will observe the national two-minute silence, marked by a bugler.The March Past & Salute Taking will be followed by a Civic Procession, including visiting dignitaries, to Bath Abbey for the Remembrance Service at 3.00 pm. At 2.30 pm The Royal British Legion Remembrance Sunday Parade will take place outside the Guildhall. 10.59am: The service will begin at the war memorial with the sounding of the ‘Last Post’ and the laying of the first wreath by the Mayor. Sun 13 November, 2022 at 2:30 pm until 4:00 pm. Around this time each year, we take two minutes in silence to remember military and civilian sacrifices made during conflict.10.20am: The parade will step off from Warrington Town Hall and make its way to the cenotaph via Springfield Street Palmyra Square South Suez Street Ryland Street Bridge Street and onto the cenotaph at approximately 10.30am.The schedule for the ceremony is as follows: The Mayor of Warrington, Cllr Jean Flaherty, will join war veterans, religious leaders and members of the armed forces for Remembrance Sunday.
